The last toothbrush you’ll ever need.

SymplBrush is an innovative electric toothbrush that does need a little explaining. Through some smaller projects and a website rebrand, I creative directed a tone, color palette, and fonts that have some fun with the weirdness of the product while emphasizing its legitimacy in the dental space.

How do I use this thing?

I wrote, art directed and produced this how-to video that customers reach via QR code inside their product package.

SITE REBRAND

BEFORE

AFTER

SymplBrush needed to feel more playful and modern. We hired Primary, a small branding agency, to build out a new look-and-feel working with the original logo, and I creative-directed the process to juggle my own hopes for the brand with the CEO’s needs and taste. I art directed and produced a remote shoot via Soona to create assets that matched our new brand colors and the vibe we were going for.

Instruction Manual

While there is a detailed instructional video online, there’s nothing quite like opening a package and letting what’s packed in there tell you what to do.

SymplBrush @ Naked Retail

The first step in the product launch was to snag a spot at Naked Retail, which was featuring products of “the future.” SymplBrush is definitely a product that no one’s ever seen before, so literally getting the customers’ hands on one before buying was essential.

I created targeted Instagram ads as well as a TikTok/Reel to let New Yorkers know where they could check it out.
